From March 13th through to March 20th 2009 the NZAFL in conjunction with the AFL are in the process of rolling out the “Kiwi Kick After School Programme.”

We will be conducting training with the assistance of AFL staff in the regions of Christchurch, Auckland and Hamilton which will be suitable for those who are interested in assisting with Centre Co ordinating and Coaching Co ordinating with 'After School Programmes' or community based programmes as well as Orientation Seminars for parents or volunteers on one night in each centre.

Orientation seminars are also available for parents and the public to learn more about what the Kiwikick programme entails.

Training Programme

This will take on the format of the course being delivered directly to primary school students in groups of between 25 to 50 children for 40 minute to 60 minute sessions.
