With the resignation of Elected Director Brent Frewen, Rob Malone has been appointed his successor as AFL New Zealands newest Board Member. Rob brings with him a wealth of experience that will be of great benefit to development of AFL within New Zealand.
Rob, a former CEO of our organisation has a great understanding of operational and strategic workings of AFLNZ. A 'team player", we welocme him on board and wish him the best of luck. Brent Frewen has been based in Christchurch over the past 18 months and we appreciate his efforts as well as his current circumstances |

Saturday, April 02, 2011 - Brent Frewen elected onto AFL New Zealand Board
The AFL New Zealand AGM was held on Sunday 27th March 2011. The meeting saw the retirement of Damon Crowe who has spent 5 years in the position. His replacement Brent Frewen, has a strong background with the sport as well as a marketing background that will add to the talented AFL New Zealand Board. AFL New Zealand welcomes Brent at an exciting time for the organisation and wishes him all the best.

Sunday, January 23, 2011 - New Appointed Director announced
The AFL have announced Ben Davies as the AFL New Zealand newly Appointed Director. Currently, Mr Davies is the Marketing and Communications Manager for Greyhound Racing Victoria and has been in this role for the past four years. His senior management position in greyhound racing involves boosting the profile of the sport and gaining awareness and participation from the general public.There are significant parallels between the challenges greyhound racing relative to horse racing faces and those faced by AFL New Zealand relative to a competitive New Zealand sporting landscape. AFL New Zealand is confident Mr Davies will be an asset for the development of AFL within New Zealand and we welcome his involvement.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008 - New Director Appointed to NZAFL Board
The NZAFL would like to announce the appointment of a new Director on the NZAFL Board.
Cory Williams is based in Auckland and is Managing Director of Calcium Software following on from his involvement as CEO of both ‘The Optima Corporation’ and ‘The ICE Angels’.
